E-mail from Texas
I received an e-mail from Texas.
I call the sender "Uncle Jimmy" with friendly feeling.
In this August, Uncle Jimmy came to Japan to meet his daughter and her husband.
But Uncle Jimmy couldn't stay at a house of his daughter
because they lived in a kind of dormitory with 16 other families.
So, Uncle Jimmy stayed the hotel where I work.
Uncle Jimmy can't speak Japanese.
So the employees of a hotel had to talk with him in English.
I spoke English best in the employees.
When I talked in English, Uncle Jimmy was pleased very much.
With the thanks during his stay at the hotel,
a good news of his daughter and her husband was written the e-mail.
They will be moving into a house.
I want to reply to Uncle Jimmy immediately.
But I am a bad correspondent. Besides, I am weak in English.
So, I'm practicing writing a letter by writing this blog in English.
But....
そんなヒマがあったらとっとと返事を書かんかいっ、とツッコミが来そうな気もします。
